Patriot Propane was founded in 2002 serving the Des Moines and central Iowa area.  In June of 2011 Patriot Propane was purchased by Diamond Oil Co., a full service oil and lube distributor founded in 1978.  Patriot Propane remains as a stand alone company that primarily provides construction companies with all propane needs as well as portable site heater rentals.
